Plain version: Splurge does not require an account and keeps your activity on your device. Splurge is a satirical spending-simulator game.
Information stored on your device
When you use Splurge, the following is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:
- The display name you choose during onboarding.
- Your in-game progress: pretend balance, simulated orders, status tier, streaks, preferences and notification history.
This is fictional game state. You can erase it anytime with Profile → Restart experience, or by deleting the app.
Purchases
This version of Splurge is free and contains no in-app purchases. No payment information is collected or processed.
Advertising
Splurge shows simulated, in-app advertisements that are part of the game and are not served by a third-party ad network. We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you.
Notifications
With your permission, Splurge sends local notifications(e.g. “your order is on the way”, daily reminders) that are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in the iOS Settings app.
Children
Splurge is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect contacts, location, photos, health data, browsing history, or precise identifiers. There are no user accounts and no server-side profile of you.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
